The Organization of American States (OAS) as Technical Secretariat of the Inter-American Network in Government Procurement (INGP), the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) and the Caribbean Development Bank (CDB) organized the Webinar “Fighting COVID-19 through Public Procurement”; which took place on June 03, 2020.
The purpose of this Webinar session was to provide a space to share regional experiences and global initiatives in public procurement which have been implemented to achieve and promote greater transparency, integrity, innovation, cooperation, and access to the market in fighting this global pandemic.
Also, it counted with the participation of public procurement experts from global/regional initiatives and organizations (OCP, UNOPS, CARICOM, CDEMA, OECS, COMISCA and Global Pandemic Supply Chain Network), private sector (Easy Buy and IDOM), and National Procurement Agencies from Ecuador, Paraguay and USA.
