The first version of this document was prepared by the Division for Sustainable Development and Human Settlements Division of the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC) in order to guide the discussions during the Regional Implementation Forum on Sustainable Development, preparatory activity the eighteenth session of the Commission on Sustainable Development (CSD) on 26 and 27 November 2009, in Antigua, Guatemala.

The results of the Forum, as well as specific comments on the document made ​​by the representatives of the member countries have been incorporated into this final version.
