The Institute of Public Procurement (ACCE) of Uruguay has initiated the implementation of the first stage of the Single Registry of Suppliers with four pilot agencies  

The system will facilitate the registration and update of information of all legal entities who wish to engage in procurement process with the state.  

The Registry not only entails an important change in the relationships between the State and suppliers but also becomes a constructive paradigm for governing.
