The Dominican Republic will host the “IV Central America and Dominican Republic Forum on Transparency, Equity, and Access to Public Procurement, with an emphasis on MSMEs.” The Forum is organized by the National Office of Procurement of the Dominican Republic, with the support of Transparency International, the Ministry of the Executive, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, within the framework of the Presidency of the Central American Integration System (SICA) Sistema de Integración Centroamericano .
The forum also receives support from the Inter-American Network on Government Procurement (INGP) through the Department for Effective Public Management of Organization of American States (OAS). In addition, the event will open with the words of the President of the Dominican Republic, Danilo Medina Sanchez, thus opening the floor to experts and government officials specialized on the subject.
