The National Public Procurement Agency, Colombia Compra Eficiente, has identified major issues with the current Electronic Public Procurement System (SECOP), including high operational costs and shortcomings in performance and availability. In response, the agency has launched a dialogue and public participation process to overhaul SECOP, aiming to enhance efficiency and transparency in government contracting.
