The growing use of Information Technology and Communication (ICT) and the transformation they have generated in all areas of society, have led to new forms of organization and operation, an activity that has not been immune to the Government and that in recent years there have been various efforts in creating infrastructure, systems, processes and regulations in this area.
The Government Procurement process has its importance in the cycle of “demand and supply”, where the supply of goods and services requires prior government contracting procedures. It is a process with a huge challenge to optimize and control, as it involves a large number of participants from different groups, the scope of impact is horizontal in organizations.
