The INGP-REDICOP Declaration “Enhancing Sustainability through Public Procurement” aims to urge RICG member countries to promote sustainability-focused measures that facilitate the implementation of strategic actions to address socio-economic and environmental challenges. These include combating climate change and transitioning to clean and renewable energy sources.

Additionally, this Declaration represents a joint vision among the Organization of American States (OAS) as technical secretariat of the INGP, the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), the Caribbean Development Bank (CDB), the International Development Research Centre (IDRC) of Canada, the Development Bank of Latin America and the Caribbean (CAF), the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), and the Open Contracting Partnership (OCP).
