Between January and March 12, 2025, Peru’s State Procurement Supervisory Agency (OSCE) trained more than 21,700 individuals on the new Law No. 32069, General Law on Public Procurement, through its Virtual Classroom platform. The training consisted of 30 events offered in three formats: videoconferences, massive open online courses (MOOCs), and microlearning sessions. Highlights included 15 videoconferences with 13,918 participants, 13 MOOCs with 7,032 enrollees, and 2 microlearning sessions with 795 attendees.
The training covered key topics such as sustainable public procurement, international contracts, BIM methodology, dispute resolution mechanisms, and procurement procedures. These efforts are part of OSCE’s strategy to strengthen capabilities and ensure proper implementation of the new legal framework, which comes into effect on April 22, 2025. Additional training activities are planned for the remainder of March and April to reinforce these learnings.
